EMILY WALSH most recently appeared on the Kanata Theatre stage as Alais in The Lion in Winter. Past performances include Elizabeth in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (CCC nomination-Best Actress), Agnes in Agnes of God (Capital Critics Circle Award- Best Actress), Mary in Mary’s Wedding (CCC nomination-Best Actress), and Maire in Ottawa Little Theatre’s Translations. When not on stage, Emily is a fledgling public relations specialist, dancer, and history buff.

EMILY WALSH (Child, Elizabeth Jelkes) is delighted to be
making her third appearance on the Kanata Theatre stage.
Previous roles include Agnes in Agnes of God, Mary
Mary’s Wedding (Capital Critics’ Circle nomination—best
actress), and Maire in OLT’s production of Translations.
Emily is currently a public relations student at Algonquin
College, and a graduate of Mount Allison University on the east coast,
where she was a regular on stage as an actor, dancer, and choreographer.

EMILY WALSH (Agnes) is thrilled to be returning to Kanata Theatre for her second production with such a remarkably talented cast and crew. She first appeared as Mary in last season’s production of Mary’s Wedding. In 2011 Emily played Maire in Ottawa Little Theatre’s production Translations, after four years at Mount Allison University where she participated in over eight productions as an actor and choreographer. Currently a public relations student at Algonquin College, Emily’s spare time is spent in dance classes and coffee shops.

EMILY WALSH (Mary/Sgt. Flowerdew) is thrilled to be making her Kanata Theatre debut with such an outstanding cast and crew. A recent graduate of Mount Allison University, she spent four years on the stages of New Brunswick as an actor, dancer, and choreographer. Upon graduation, she returned to her hometown and the Ottawa theatre community in her role as Maire in the Ottawa Little Theatre and Tara Players’ production of Brian Friel’s Translations. Other favourite roles include Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella. A big thank you goes out to the welcoming Kanata Theatre community and her ever-supportive friends and family.
