PAUL BEHNCKE (Utterson, Hyde) enjoys drawing from previous Kanata Theatre roles to help shape his characters in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde: lawyer Sam Weinberg in A Few Good Men, psychotic war veteran Scanlon in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, suspected killer Bobby Carlyle in Postmortem and dance instructor Gerry Adams in Dancing at Lughnasa. Offstage, Paul is Director of Publicity with Kanata Theatre and regularly helps with set construction, painting, front of house, furnishings and set decor.

PAUL BEHNCKE (George Sillers) is grateful to count Inherit the Wind as his 15th Kanata Theatre show in 15 years. Recent roles include Clown in The 39 Steps, Romain Tournel in A Flea in Her Ear, Paris in Romeo and Juliet, Hortensio in The Taming of the Shrew and Sam Weinberg in A Few Good Men. Offstage, Paul is director of publicity for Kanata Theatre and has helped with set construction, painting, front of house, lighting and sound.

PAUL BEHNCKE (Clown) recently joined the fun onstage 7 days before opening night to share the role with injured Andrew Williams. Previous Kanata Theatre roles include Romain Tournel in A Flea in Her Ear, Paris in Romeo & Juliet, Hortensio in The Taming of the Shrew, Sam Weinberg in A Few Good Men, Scanlon in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Bobby Carlyle in Postmortem. In addition to producing The 39 Steps he is Director or Publicity for Kanata Theatre and can also be found assisting with front of house duties, servery, set construction, lighting, sound, properties and furnishings.

PAUL BEHNCKE (Tony Kirby) finds himself pursuing marriage on the stage of Kanata Theatre for the fourth year in a row. First it was as a terrorist in The Madwoman of Chaillot, next as a mental patient in The Curious Savage and most recently as The Pilot in Departures and Arrivals. Paul thanks his understanding wife as he plays yet another young man who happily "gets the girl".

PAUL BEHNCKE (Cormac) first appeared on the Kanata Theatre stage in 1999 as Pierre in The Madwoman of Chaillot. He has since appeared in five other productions including Jeffrey in The Curious Savage, Tony Kirby in You Can't Take it With You and most recently as Gerry in Dancing at Lughnasa. When not on stage, Paul contributes to Kanata Theatre's publicity and play selection committees as well as helping with set construction, properties, furnishings and house management.
