From the progam for John Buchan’s The 39 Steps
MIKE HAMMOND (Richard Hannay) is thrilled to be making his return to Kanata Theatre after a seven-year absence, during which time he devoted himself to the role of “proud father” in the highly successful production of His Daughter Stephanie, now in her ninth fabulous year. The 39 Steps is Mike’s sixth appearance on the Kanata Theatre stage. He first appeared as King Krispin in the children’s Christmas play The Haunted Castle, and has also portrayed Ernie in Rumors, Sharkey in You’ll Get Used To It! – The War Show, and most recently Tim in the award-winning Noises Off.
From the program for Noises Off:
MIKE HAMMOND (Tim Allgood) is in his fifth production at Kanata Theatre, having most recently appeared as Sharky in You'll Get Used to It! - The War Show. He previously appeared as Ernie in Neil Simon's Rumors, in various roles in Carol Shields's Departures and Arrivals, and as King Krispin in the 2000 children's play The Haunted Castle. He also helped create many of the food props, including cardboard watermelon and Styrofoam meatballs, in You Can't Take It With You.
